Wind Surpasses Nuclear Energy in China

In response to the Fukushima disaster, the Chinese government has suspended construction of nuclear reactors and increased wind energy production. In 2012, wind farms produced 2 percent more energy than nuclear plants did, representing an overall explosive growth of 80% per year.
