Tres Amigas Raises Money for US Grid Super-Hub

Tres Amigas LLC, the partnership planning a superconducting, direct-current transmission hub to connect the Texas, Eastern and Western U.S. grids, has raised $12 million. There are many wind farms and solar power that could use this new hub.
