Professor Tim Sherwood's ArchLab paper receives Best Paper Award
Under the direction of Computer Science Professor Tim Sherwood in UCSB's ArchLab, graduate student researcher Georgios Tzimpragos and ECE Professor Dmitri Strukov with their co-authors won the Best Paper Award at the 24th ACM International Conference on Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems (ASPLOS). Their paper titled, "Boosted Race Trees for Low Energy Classification" addresses in-sensor processing, classification, decision trees and race logic.
