Philips Ups Its LED Bulb—Sister Company NXP to Take on Google

Philips Lighting has unveiled a new 75-watt equivalent LED bulb while Philips spinoff NXP announced that it has developed GreenChip, a low-powered networking device that can be inserted into bulbs for inexpensive networking.
