John Bowers selected as top researcher for Intel's Launch of Integrated Photonics Research Center

IEE Director John Bowers has been selected as a top researcher to participate in Intel’s recently opened Intel® Research Center for Integrated Photonics for Data Center Interconnects. This center will focus on research accelerating optical I/O technology innovation in performance scaling and integration. Intel acknowledges that collaboration with academia to develop new and innovative technology is very important to advancing the technologies mentioned.
