Introducing the 2019-2020 IEE Excellence in Research Fellow:
Nathaniel Tucker
Nathaniel Tucker is a second year PhD candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. His research is centered around electric vehicle smart charging to increase solar usage and reduce negative externalities on power grids, as well as analyzing price signals to shape constomers' electricity demands. His research is being completed under the supervison of Assistant Professor Mahnoosh Alizadeh.
Introducing the 2019-2020 Szilagyi Energy Breakthrough Fellow:
Shubhra Pasayat
Shubhra Pasayat is a third year PhD candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Her research focuses on InGaN relaxation enabled by porous GaN leading to longer wavelength emissions, with the intent to create more efficient lattice engineered optoelecronic devices. Her research is being conducted under the supervison of Professor Umesh Mishra.
