Duracell With a Twist: Researchers Find Fix for Grid-Scale Battery Storage

Institute faculty member, Eric McFarland, is assisting CUNY Energy Institute in the development of a grid-scale battery storage project. This new battery uses nickel-zinc technology that is cheaper to produce and just as long-lasting as lithium-ion batteries.
