Frenkel Foundation and is granted to two advanced doctoral candidates in recognition of their outstanding research contributions to the field of energy efficiency. Introducing the 2019-2020 Peter J. Frenkel Foundation Fellows:


Kyle Clark
Kyle Clark is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department. His research focuses on the development of a materials system for comparison of diverse light responsive moieties and is being completed under the supervision of Professor Javier Read de Alaniz. 


Nathan Palmquist
Nathan Palmquist is a second year PhD candidate in the Materials Science Department. His research centers around the development of high-power pc-violet VCSELs for the vertical horticulture industry and is being completed under the supervision of Professor Shuji Nakamura.
