Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, University of Melbourne and Victoria State Government open Centre for Energy-Efficient Telecommunications

The Centre for Energy-Efficient Telecommunications will be devoted to innovation in energy-efficient networks and technologies with the goal of reducing the impact of telecommunications on the environment; CEET will be one of the largest research efforts for green telecommunications in the world.
