Biography
Adrian Deveny is the Founder and President of Climate Vision. Prior to founding Climate Vision, he spent 13 year working in the United States Senate, most recently as the Director of Energy and Environmental Policy for Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer. In that role, he led the climate and energy negotiations on the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Energy Act of 2020, among other legislation.
Leah Stokes is the Anton Vonk Associate Professor of Environmental Politics in the Department of Political Science. She works on energy, climate and environmental politics. Within American Politics, her work focuses on representation and public opinion; voting behavior; and public policy. Within environmental politics, she researches climate change, renewable energy, water and chemicals policy. In 2022, she was named an advocate on TIME100 Next, and as one of Business Insider’s top 30 global leaders working toward climate solutions.
