Frenkel Foundation Fellowships
The Peter J. Frenkel Fellowships are made possible through the generous support of the Peter J. Frenkel Foundation. These fellowships recognize outstanding graduate research in energy efficiency by students who have reached advanced doctoral candidacy. The Institute names two outstanding students per academic year, and provides fellows with a quarterly stipend of $1,000, for a total of $4,000.
Szilagyi Energy Breakthrough Fellowship
The Szilagyi Energy Breakthrough Fellowships are made possible through the generous support of Gary and Tammy Szilagyi. These highly competitive awards recognize “out of the box” thinking and are intended to provide fellows with seed funding to explore energy breakthrough ideas leading to potential commercialization that they otherwise could not explore. The Institute intends to name one student per academic year beginning in Fall 2017. The award provides $25K in discretionary funds to be used solely in support of the proposed research project.
