Andrew Netherton

Andy graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2016 with academic interests in photonic devices, optical communications, and fabrication techniques. He is an incoming graduate student at the University of California at Santa Barbara where he’ll be pursuing a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics & Photonics; he is also an incoming Fellow of the Institute of Energy Efficiency at UCSB. He will be involved in a research group whose primary focus is hybrid silicon photonic integrated circuit technologies.
