DOE Study Confirms LEDs Most ‘Environmentally Friendly’ Lighting

A U.S. Department of Energy report finds that the energy lights consume during operation makes up the majority of their environmental impact, compared to the energy consumed in making and transporting them. The report came out with many other findings and predictions.
