Alexis Ringwald is a co-founder and Director of Business Development at Valence Energy and co-founder of, an educational network training students on smart grid technologies. She has worked in both the California and India offices. Fast Company recently selected Alexis for the "Most Influential Women in Tech 2010" list. After graduating from Yale with a B.A. and M.E.M., Alexis was a Fulbright Scholar to India researching the cleantech sector at The Energy Resource Institute (TERI) for her book "Momentum for Renewable Energy in India." Alexis also co-directed the Climate Solutions Road Tour traveling 2,400 miles across India in solar plug-in electric cars to showcase the top climate solutions. The road tour was publicized in major newspapers throughout India, honored by the President of India, and featured in the NY Times in an Op-Ed by Thomas Friedman, "Yes,They Could. So They Did."
