I received my Ph.D degree from Yale in 2016 and worked on molecular beam epitaxial III-V growths for InP-based mid-infrared Iaser diodes, high temperature concentration AlInGaP-GaAs solar cells, and highly tensile-strained Ge/InAlAs nanocomposites. I joined the Institute of Energy Efficiency at UCSB in August 2016 and working with Prof. John Bowers to develop high efficiency quantum dot photonic integrated circuit technology epitaxially grown on silicon.
