Federal mortgage lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac say they might not accept loans for homes that take advantage of Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing. The stance contradicts Obama's allocation of stimulus funds to support PACE and has homeowners and retrofitting companies confused.
