Yahho's new data center in Lockport, NY.
The design of Yahoo's new data center was inspired by a chicken coop. Its unique structure helps the center achieve a power-use effectiveness ratio of 1.08; only 8 percent of the power consumed goes to lights and operational equipment and less than 1 percent of the power gets consumed in cooling.
