LG ‘Energy Star Most Efficient’ Sales Jump 75%
LG says its "Energy Star Most Efficient" sales have increased by 75%. According to the EPA, these purchases will save consumers more than $150 million in utility costs and reduce GHG by about 930 million pounds over the lifetime of these products.

LEED Certifications for Federal Buildings Rise More Than 50%
The number of federal LEED-certified projects has skyrocketed about 51 percent this year, from 544 completed in 2011 to 821 in just the first eight months of 2012, the Federal Times reports.
