Jim Sanfilippo, founder and CEO of Nila Inc., is a twenty-one year veteran of motion picture and television production. Jim’s experience is unique. He has worked on a diverse blend of high and low budgeted motion pictures and television projects. Jim has worked on over 500 TV commercials. He has extensive experience in visual effects for feature flms including: “T2-3D Battle Across Time,” “Mars Attacks,” “Dante’s Peak,” “Armageddon,” “Vertical Limit,” “I Robot,” “Day After Tomorrow,” “Talladega Nights,” “The Departed” and “The Good Shepherd.” During his extensive time on motion picture sets, Jim saw the problems and shortfalls of motion picture set lighting. Jim started Nila Inc. to bring the highest quality environmentally friendly solid-state lighting equipment to the motion picture and television industry.
