BRUCE PELTON

Director of Engineering, California Lighting Technology Center, UC Davis

Bruce Pelton comes with over 35 years of experience in the lighting industry. He holds 15 issued US and Canadian Patents in the feld of illumination with others awaiting allowance. In his time in the industry he has advised Lumatech, Lumenyte, Ushio, Westinghouse, Access, OptiLED and Samsung. He has served on the California Energy Effcient Appliance Task Force, California Business Roundtable, and written small business effciency programs used by the National Restaurant Association and Pacifc Gas and Electric Company. He is a Senior member of the AEE (Association of Energy Engineers), the IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) and the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
