Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The Center for Energy Efficient Materials (CEEM) internship program allows science and engineering undergraduates at the UC Santa Barbara campus to gain research experience during the academic year.  Interns gain first-hand experience in scientific investigation in a dynamic, collaborative research environment.  Research areas include organic and inorganic photovoltaics, thermoelectrics and solid state lighting.  Interns attend weekly meetings, special seminars, and have the opportunity to develop their presentation skills throughout the academic year.  

• Funding available for fall, winter and spring quarter
• Program dates are to coincide with 2009-2010 academic year
• A minimum of 3.0 gpa is required to participate in this program
