Getting New PV Solar Power Technologies with a focus on the
Skyline Solar High Gain Approach

The solar industry is just beginning to take off but we need to move faster.  In order to do this, concentrating solar power will have to play a big part, and Skyline Solar is focusing on new innovations in this field. Having built four plants, the company is currently at a small scale, but is growing.  Its new, proven technology combines tracked PV systems with solar thermal technology to achieve High Gain Solar PV, which can work on distributed and utility scales.  High Gain Solar PV manages heat more effectively than conventional track systems, and is the world's first upgradable solar power technology.  The system requires less materials and is almost entirely manufactured using recyclable metal.  This results in more watts per pound of material and an overall much lower carbon footprint.
