Foreign Affairs columnist for The New York Times Tom Friedman has won three Pulitzer Prizes and been called “the country’s best newspaper columnist” by Vanity Fair. His bestselling book The World is Flat has sold more than two million copies; while his book From Beirut to Jerusalem won the National Book Award and the Overseas Press Club Award. Friedman will discuss his recently-released book about the threat of climate change titled Hot, Flat, and Crowded – Why We Need a Green Revolution - and How It Can Renew America.
