Cradle-to-cradle design is the idea of continually recycling old products into new ones to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. This system could be refined by only using renewable and reusable resources. Our best nuclear reactor is 93 million light years away, free, and wireless. Approached from a systems perspective, efficiency is demand-side management and effectiveness is supply-side management. People have to start thinking of themselves as native to the earth.
