Martin Fischer: Presentation & Video
MARTIN FISCHER
Building Energy Performance and Efficiency: Fact or Fiction?
Martin Fischer, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University and Director of the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), discusses the importance of establishing value based metrics and best practices for measurements in order to accurately evaluate building performance. Many buildings today do not function as efficiently as designed, therefore establishing metrics can aid the development of predictive models that can help us look to the future of building science and functionality.
