Campaign Goals
Jeff and Judy Henley’s transformative lead gift of $50 million for the Campaign for UC Santa Barbara sets the Institute and College of Engineering on a bold path to the future. Their $30 million investment in the Institute is intended to challenge our extended community to continue on that path by raising an additional $35 million in commitments.

Faculty Recruitment and Retention and Student Support: $10 million
The quality of the University and the Institute and our ability to realize our vision is dependent on recruiting and retaining world-class faculty and graduate students.
Institute Operations and Programs: $5 million
